Nvidia is making a big push into the mining world, introducing a new GPU miner for the Asus Transformer Book T100.

The new GPU, dubbed PowerCore-G, will offer up to 4.2 GFLOPS of mining performance in the U.S., while using an HDMI connection, according to a press release from Nvidia.

PowerCore-X, the GPU that Nvidia calls the “most powerful GPU miner ever,” is the first of its kind to use a CPU-controlled GPU.

Nvidia claims that the new GPU can perform up to 3.5 GFLOPs per watt, making it more than enough to mine Bitcoin and Litecoin.

The GPU miner is powered by a 2.2 GHz Intel Xeon E3-1221v5 dual-core processor and 8 GB of DDR4 RAM.

It will run at up to 2.5 GHz with a default turbo clock.

The GPU also features two GPU controllers, one dedicated to Bitcoin mining and one dedicated for Litecoin mining.

The miner is fully compatible with the Asus Zenbook Flip, as well as the upcoming Asus Transactional Graphics Platform.

The miner is expected to be available in early 2018.
